Letter from Winemaker, Alex Lee sharing the significance of this wine:

Next time we see each other I will probably be a little bit grayer, but a whole lot happier. As of March 25^th, at 10:39 am, my wife Jaimie and I are officially parents! Griffin Lee came to this world with 10 fingers, 10 toes, and very much the capacity for a good cry. I would love for y'all to celebrate this moment with us.

Back in 2019, I officially started as the Winemaker during the harvest. It was five weeks of long, creative, exhausting, exciting days. That dedication worked out in the end as the best vintage I've gotten to work with (so far).

Now, after 20 months in the barrel, I want to share one of the wines from that season I am most excited about with you all - the 2019 Kiepersol Sangiovese. Fresh and lively, while still deep and complex. I most looked forward to this one almost three years ago before going into oak and it has only gotten better.

Please enjoy with Jaimie and I, celebrating my first red wine from grape to bottle for our first son, Griffin. And to the long, creative, exhausting, exciting days to come.
