"Open the Moment,” Kiepersol’s legendary saying, rings true as we taste through time, reflect on legacy, and share the story of a wine that helped build it all. This is a Wine Club exclusive event you won’t want to miss—an intimate Vertical Tasting of Barrel No. 33, held in the very room where these wines were crafted and aged.

Founding Winemaker Marnelle Durrett will guide you through eight vintages of Barrel No. 33, including the original Texique, a wine crafted by Pierre himself before his passing in 2016. Though he didn’t see it bottled, his daughters and fiancée honored his vision by giving that wine a name that captured his spirit. Today, the Texique label represents everything unique and beautiful about our estate—wines that speak for our land and our story.

This Vertical is more than a tasting. It’s a moment to honor the past, celebrate the present, and glimpse the future. And while some of these vintages still remain in our private cellar, the experience of tasting them side-by-side in the Barrel Room is truly rare—and may never be repeated in quite this way again.

Following the tasting, we’ll gather in the Club House for a plated hors d’oeuvres reception, light dessert, and wine specials as the sun sets over the vineyard—a perfect close to an unforgettable evening.

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to make it to the event, you must cancel prior to 48 hours to the start time of the event, to receive a full refund and anyone on the waitlist may be notified. Any cancellations within the 48-hour window to the event will receive a 50% refund. If you see another event with availability, that is more suitable for your schedule, you may call and move your purchase to the selected date, by calling 903.894.3300 prior to the 48-hour window of the event.
