2024 Kiepersol Tjaila

WINEMAKER NOTES

Inspired by the late harvest and Sauternes wines of Europe where grapes are picked at the highest concentration of flavor and sweetness, Tjaila is an ultra-premium dessert wine with high sweetness.

The aromatics evoke everything that is honey and honeysuckle. The palate presents with a comforting glazed feel showcasing flavors of honey, apricot, and cantaloupe with beautifully balanced acidity.

Pronounced 'chai-luh'. Tjaila is the tribal word in southern Africa for 'quitting time' or 'end of the day or shift'. It is just a fun term for a wine to savor after work.
